Hong Kong Map Series

The series finished in 1999 with numbers of photographic images to discuss issue of positioning in relation to notion of landscape/cityscape due to geographic changes of a space/place. The idea was inspired by a photgrapher- Mr. Wong Kan Tai's work "Reclaim Land from the Sea" which shows the less noticeable side of various reclaimation work in Hong Kong.

Reclamation of land changed the physical geographical situations of a place by allowing new city centres to be formed continuously. Individual citizen's social position is thus affected.

All work are black and white photographs.
